As a small startup, we aren't sure what to put here and its legal implication. And as you can imagine, people obsessed about maths education find these legal intricacies boring. So, we decided to be honest. Instead of long form legal language that makes no sense but gets you to agree on selling all your data to us, we will keep you simple promise. In one line, we won't be evil jerks about your data stored on the website.

Specifically,
- We won't sell your data to any third party so that they can sell you more things. For example, you'd never see an advertisement to buy a book on Trigonometry because you did a Trigonometry course on our website.
- We built this experience so that you can focus on learning. We only collect data that informs us how are you learning (example: did you sign up? How many courses have you completed? How much time did you spend on game X?). We look at this data to figure out if this website is actually useful or not. Otherwise we don't care much about it. For example, we don't judge you on the basis of how often you fail at a quiz on the website. Or how many times you keep playing the game just for fun.
- Your progress in various courses, grades/marks or any other data will not be shared with any other company, school or anyone else. Yes, we still have nightmares about our report cards being plastered all over the town and evil neighbours laughing at us about our score in geometry. So we won't let that happen to you.
- We do not care about your demographics data like how old are you, where do you stay, which gender you identify with etc. We look at aggregate stats about which countries are we getting traffic from. For example, it would be nice to know someone in Severnaya Zemlya is learning maths with us, but that's pretty much it. We want this site to be a friendly learning experience for everyone. So come as you are, as you were ... Anyway enough lyrics.
- Using the email that you used to sign up, we would occasionally send you a hi. This would be to to tell you about the worlds greatest course launching on the site or recommend you a book on mathematics. We know, all the marketers say the same and then keep sending you irrelevant crap everyday. We will try to be mindful and not flood your inbox. If we become cringy or annoying, drop us a mail to let us know so that we can improve!
